Measuring Guide

Top Fit/Ceiling Mount

1. Measure the Width

  • Measure the exact width of your ceiling from one wall to the other.
  • If you have cornices, measure from the inside edges of the cornices.
  • Record this measurement as your track width.
  • No need to calculate fabric requirements—we’ll handle that for you based on the track width.


2. Decide on Splits (Optional)

  • Splits are ideal for bi-fold and sliding doors, allowing sections of your curtain to open at specific points.

a. For One Split:

    • Measure the width from the left wall to your desired split point.

b. For Two Splits:

    • Measure the widths from the left wall to each split point.


3. Measure the Drop

  • Measure from the ceiling to the floor in three places:
    • The left side,
    • The middle, and
    • The right side.
  • If you have cornices, measure from the inside edges of the cornices.
  • Record the largest of the three measurements as your drop length.

    1. Measure the Width

     

    • Measure the width of the wall where the track will be mounted.
    • If there are any obstructions (e.g., window frames or skirting boards), measure from the outside edges.
    • Record this measurement as your track width.


    2. Decide on Splits (Optional)

    • Choose where you’d like the curtain to split (if required).
    a. For One Split:
      • Measure the width from the left edge of the track to your desired split point.
    b. For Two Splits:
      • Measure the widths from the left edge of the track to each split point.


    3. Measure the Drop

    • Measure from the point where the track will be mounted to the floor in three places:
      • The left side,
      • The middle, and
      • The right side.
    • Record the shortest of the three measurements as your drop length.

      Top Fit/Ceiling Mount

      1. Mark the Track Position
      • Using your width measurement, mark the ceiling where the track will be installed.
      2. Install Brackets
      • Fix the brackets securely into the ceiling at regular intervals. Use wall plugs if necessary.
      3. Attach the Track
      • Mount the curtain track onto the brackets. Ensure it is level and secure.
      4. Hang the Curtains
      • Attach your curtains to the track and test the movement.


        Face Fit Mount

        1. Mark the Track Position
        • Using your width measurement, mark the wall where the track will be installed.
